Letter from a Younger Brother

Documenting Islamic terrorism in statistical fashion on a daily basis sometimes desensitizes us to the human tragedy behind each act of violence.  A letter from a victim's family member not only reminds us of the unnecessary horror and heartache, but also renews our commitment to exposing the motivating ideology.

Dear Editor,

As the younger brother of a soldier brutally murdered by Islamic extremists, I want to thank you for bringing the world the truth about Islam.  My brother 1st Lt. Adam Malson of the 10th Mountain Division and his interpreter, nicknamed Shine, were blown to pieces by a terrorist suicide bomber as they attempted to console an Iraqi mother struck by a previous attack.  Shine was a young mother herself who saw hope in a part of the world that gave up on freedom and peace a long time ago.   They nicknamed her Shine, because of her amazing smile.

Far too many Muslims are too afraid to stand up to the tyranny and oppression Islam that teaches.  If more good Islamic people like Shine were willing to stand up to their religion and fight against the radicals , the world might begin to understand the truth.  Adam and Shine were among many of the incredible heroes killed on February 19th, 2005 in Iraq in the name of Islam.

The coward that detonated his suicide vest that day is just one of the millions of Muslims willing to put Islam before life, liberty, and freedom.  When our own president is more willing to apologize to Muslims for America's pursuit to bring freedom to a people that have never had that opportunity, than to condemn the terrorist acts of a religion, I think of my Mother and Grandmother that had to see their 23 year old son and grandson lye in an open coffin with cotton and plastic replacing his missing limbs.  All to advance the religion of Islam.

I have been checking your website for a long time and every time I read the updates I am never surprised.  Thank you again for bringing the real story to the table. Please keep up the great work.

Best regards,

D. Malson
